Dr. Tyler Miles

I’m a licensed psychologist and former cheerleader who’s passionate about creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. With curiosity and compassion, I help clients explore how trauma, identity, and relationships shape their lives and performance.

I am dedicated to meeting you where you are, striving to foster a supportive and trauma-informed environment for you to explore your experiences and identities. Social justice and authenticity are central to my practice as a clinician and human being. I aim to bring a perspective of curiosity and cultural humility to my work, recognizing that meaningful change is deeply relational. I hope to foster the safety and security necessary for you to grow, heal, and thrive by addressing individual and systemic factors—particularly the impact of trauma and identity within relationships. I am committed to a social justice framework by not only supporting individual well-being but also by actively challenging the broader systems of oppression that impact you.

Dr. Tyler Miles has experience working with Olympic and Division I athletes and specializes in the following mental health and sport performance concerns: anxiety, complex/relational trauma, depression, disordered eating, emotional abuse, mental blocks or the ‘yips,’ performance anxiety, self-esteem, self-talk, sexuality, stress, systemic/institutional oppression/trauma, and transition out of sport. Dr. Tyler is also a retired Worlds-level competitive and college cheerleader.
